Your VNA offers supportive care services for children with a serious illness and support to the parents and families of these children. Our goal is to provide continuity of care for children, and to create a sustainable system of support for families throughout the child’s illness and beyond.
When Palliative Care is right for your child
Palliative Care services are available to children from birth to 18 years of age and their families. We can care for your child beginning from the time of diagnosis throughout the course of treatments. If a cure is not possible, we will provide care in your home for you and your child through end of life. We also offer bereavement services for families.
We help you understand treatment options and customize services to keep the special needs of your family and child in mind. We work with you to help manage the symptoms of your child’s illness, with a focus on providing comfort and living life as fully as possible.
