We are grateful for the generosity of our donors through memorial and annual donations, endowment and legacy gifts and special events each year. The philanthropy of our donors last year helped us provide a total of $1.87 million in unreimbursed care to our community.
The financial support of so many community friends is crucial to our ability to care for our neighbors. We sincerely thank all donors who supported our work during the 2015 fiscal year. From July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015, over 3,750 gifts totaling $993,358 were received to support our programs and services.
If we have omitted anyone, it is unintentional and we would appreciate your notifying the Development Office at 802 860-4475. Those who contributed after June 30, 2014 will be included in the next fiscal year’s list.

Julia Smith Wheeler Founders’ Society
Julia Smith Wheeler was one of the founders of today’s VNA. In 1906, she recognized the need for home health services in our community. The Founders’ Society honors forward-thinking benefactors who name the VNA to receive a legacy gift.
By remembering the VNA in your will or through a trust mechanism, these community members ensure that vital VNA health services will be available for everyone in Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties for years to come.
To learn more about the VNA Charitable Gift Annuity program or other legacy giving opportunities, please call 860-4475 or visit our Gift Planning Page.
Between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015, the VNA was named to receive gifts in memory of friends and loved ones. The VNA is honored to receive these gifts that support our programs, such as Vermont Respite House, our Hospice program and our home health services.
