We are appreciative of the generous support we receive each year from our community. Your annual donations help us to provide home health services to 5,500 of the most vulnerable people in our community each year.

This year, we’re shaking things up a little and adding an extra challenge to our year-end giving campaign. Tuesday, December 1, we are offering a #GivingTuesday matching gift challenge that will directly benefit the UVM Health Network – Home Health & Hospice Family Room. #GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving.

Our goal is simple. Starting December 1, Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman will match dollar for dollar any gifts given to the Family Room, up to $6,000.

How Can You Give?

• On December 1, visit www.vnacares.org/donate to make a donation.
• In the drop-down menu under “I’d Like My Gift to Support a UVM Health Network – Home Health & Hospice Program,” please choose “Family Room.”
• Then go out and spread the word. Use the hashtag #GivingTuesday to talk about why you support this cause and encourage friends and family to support it, too.

UVM Health Network – Home Health & Hospice Family Room

This gift will help ensure that we can continue providing free support, education and guidance to over 400 families, many of who were previously isolated – recently resettled refugees with no community connections; families facing life stressors like poverty, addiction and/or mental health challenges; and first-time parents who never had positive caregiver role models. Last year, more than 30,000 organizations in 68 countries came together to celebrate #GivingTuesday. Since its founding in 2012, #GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours, and activities that bring about real change in communities.
