Become a Personal Care Attendant or Homemaker For Someone in Your Community
We know that individuals live better and happier lives when they can live in their own homes. It is the work of Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) and homemakers that help make this possible for so many people in our community.
VNA’s personal care attendants and homemakers provide care for individuals in their homes who need assistance because of an illness, advanced age, disability, or cognitive impairment.
As a homemaker, you will help clients with routine activities such as grocery shopping, doing laundry, and providing companionship.
PCAs also provide this level of support with daily activities as well as added assistance with morning and evening routines, getting dressed, personal care and grooming, and help with toileting.
VNA offers training to persons who want to work in health care as a personal care attendant or homemaker. Our experienced staff and educators use a combination of classroom and hands-on learning approaches to caregiver training.
The VNA has full-time and part-time opportunities available for both PCAs and homemakers, including flexible day or evening shifts.
For those who have previous experience, and for nursing students, contact us to discuss opportunities specifically for you.
