Become a Personal Care Attendant For Someone in Your Community
We know that individuals live better and happier lives when they can live in their own homes. It is the work of Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) that help make this possible for so many people in our community.
VNA’s Personal Care Attendants provide care for individuals in their homes who need assistance because of an illness, advanced age, disability, or cognitive impairment.
As a PCA helping in the home, you will help clients with routine activities such as grocery shopping, doing laundry, and providing companionship.
PCAs offer a level of support with daily activities as well as added assistance with morning and evening routines, getting dressed, personal care and grooming, and help with toileting.
VNA offers paid training to persons who want to work in health care as a Personal Care Attendant. Our experienced staff and educators use a combination of classroom and hands-on learning approaches to caregiver training.
The VNA has full-time and part-time opportunities available for PCAs, including flexible day, evening, or overnight shifts.
For those who have previous experience, and for nursing students, contact us to discuss opportunities specifically for you.
