Programs for Fathers
F.A.C.T. Groups
The VNA Fathers and Children Together (F.A.C.T.) programs are designed for fathers or men in the fathering role and their children, aged birth to 5 years old. These programs offer an opportunity for dads to meet other dads and their children.
The programs consist of fun activities, parent education and support. Dads and kids enjoy a meal and experienced child care staff support the children in their play.
There are FACT programs based in Burlington, Winooski, St. Albans and Milton. To learn more about these programs, click here.

The goal of the VNA F.A.C.T. project is to encourage and support the involvement of fathers with their young children by increasing father-focused parent education and support programs in Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. The F.A.C.T. project also seeks to promote a father-friendly culture through these activities and by disseminating information throughout the community on the importance of dads in their children’s lives.
Funding for this project is provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant # 90FR0029.

24/7 Dad
Being the best dad you can be is the most important kind of "home improvement" you can do for your family!
To support fathers in our community, the VNA is offering a free, parent education and support group for Dads. This curriculum-based program is held at the Ethan Allen Homestead. The class is offered throughout the year in 8-week sessions on Tuesdays, and child care is provided for children age six and under. Dinner is provided from 5-6 pm, with program 6-7:30 pm.
This valuable program will be offered four times a year. The next session begins in September. Please watch the website for more information. In the event of rain, Dads 24/7 will be held at the VNA Family Room. Please call 860-4420 to confirm location.
All dads are welcome.
