Traumatic Brain Injury Care
This program serves people who have suffered moderate to severe head injuries. Individuals are screened for eligibility by a statewide panel.
The goal of this short-term rehabilitation program is to assist people in maximizing their potential level of functioning and to support their return to living in their own homes and working in their community among family, friends, and neighbors.
VNA life skills aides are assigned to retrain the person in activities of daily living, provide vocational rehabilitation and assist in all aspects of independent living.
